Whether you are a complete beginner to the drums, or are looking for that little bit of motivation or assistance, I strongly believe I can help. Lessons cater to what you as a student want to learn, and can be supplemented by a wide selection of books, magazines and DVD's at my disposal.

A small selection of topics you can expect to be covered includes; reading, technique (moeller etc), playing along to a click and backing tracks, playing in various musical styles, independence and developing groove and fill vocabulary.

For youngsters and complete beginners I have developed my own unique teaching syllabus called 'See, Hear, Sing, Play', which I devised as part of my final project while completing my Degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music. This aims to make the learning process as simple and effective as possible, so that you are playing the drums and enjoying yourself in no time!

Pricing

Lessons are priced at £12 for half an hour, and £20 for a full hour. For students aged 12 and older, an hour is recommended.

Where?

Being based in Locks Heath I am able to travel to all surrounding areas, including Whitely, Fareham, Gosport and Sarisbury. While lessons are ideally conducted at the students house, I am able to host a limited number of lessons during the week at my house.

Booking and Payment

To discuss booking a lesson do not hesitate to get in touch (see the 'contact' page). Payment is by cash or cheque. Block bookings are also available, so that you are able to have your lesson at the same time every week if desired.

Please note that at the first lesson you will be asked to sign a 'lesson agreement', which covers such issues as lesson cancellation and payment policy.
